Come camping with us!

RENEW Camp for young adults and those who have just finished high school to gather together for a weekend to connect with God and others. Join us to be "renewed" through worship, electives, activities, fellowship, and late-night chats.
The Lutherans@Uni (and friends!) community gather each year in August for a weekend camp. This is an opportunity for young adults to wrestle with their difficult questions together in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Daring Discipleship

This is a program designed to help young adults engage in deeper thinking about God's Word. Whether you're looking to look into theology for the first time or you're keen to keep enriching your understanding and faith, this is for you!

There are two parts to Daring Discipleship:

  1. Mentoring

Meeting with a mentor of your choice (or we can help you find one) regularly to ask difficult questions or have intentional conversation about faith.

     2.  Gathering

Meeting with fellow Disciples every month to share how your journey is going and hear from others. This is a flexible time where it could be only personal sharing, or a guest speaker, or a multi-session Bible study.

Lead on a camp

We are always excited to welcome new leaders to our camping ministry programs! There are opportunities to serve on camps in many roles including small group leaders, catering, worship, chaplaincy and many more.

Other opportunities

There are always ways to help out! Throughout the year there are times when we call on our supporters to assist us in various tasks such as fundraising for camps or events, or preparing the Christmas and Easter resource packs that are offered free for individuals and congregations to use for outreach in their communities. If you have time to spare, we would love to hear from you!
