Blueprint Ministries is the Children, Youth, Young Adult and Family ministry team within the Lutheran Church of South Australia and Northern Territory District. We seek to support, resource and encourage congregations within our District in their ministry to these young people and their families.
Check out some the ways we are able to partner with you below!
Congregational Visits
Our Team is always keen to meet with people from around our District and explore ways that we can support, resource and encourage them in their ministry. We are able to visit and connect with your congregation.
This might include attending worship with you and presenting to the congregation or groups within the congregation about the work of our Team. We are also able to present a message or Children's Address, or provide music for worship with a camping ministry band.
Our Blueprint Team is available to meet with congregation leaders to discuss opportunities for ministry and outreach, provide training and mentoring, or help your congregation explore how they can best connect with the young people in their community.
We'd love to hear from you! Get in touch today: admin@blueprintministries.org.au.
Promote Camping Ministry
Wondering how you and your congregation can best support your young people? Camping ministry is a great way for young people to learn about their faith and engage with lots of other young people in Christian fellowship. Download our flyer here and share it around your congregation.
One of the main areas that our Blueprint Ministries Team work in is camping ministry. We host 11 camp events across the South Australia and Northern Territory District each year!
For Kids (Year 4-6) - SPIN and JC Life
For Youth (Year 7-12) - NOVO and regional CLWs
For Young Adults - RENEW and Lutherans@Uni
Camping ministry can be an amazing and powerful time of faith growth and connection for a young person. We would encourage you to consider how you might support and encourage your young people to get involved with camping ministry.
This might include actively promoting the events, financially sponsoring them to attend, organising group transport to events, attending camp alongside your young people as leaders and mentors for them in their faith journey, or volunteering in some way to support camp.
As great as a camp experience can be, that is only one week of the year. The other 51 weeks - well, that's up to you! You can continue supporting your young people after camp by meeting with them regularly for ministry and connection, offer programs such as Youth Alpha, develop further conversations from the study material from camp, and encourage your young people to tell the congregation about their experience.

Ministry Resources
Blueprint Ministries, in partnership with the Uniting Church Intergen Team, is producing a number of FREE Family Faith Trail Resources, which can be used as a congregational ministry event, or provided to individual families as an outreach resource. Topics covered so far include Christmas, Easter, and Prayer. Click here for more information.
Our Team has curated a number of resources for congregations to access and use for the Christmas and Easter seasons. These resources can be used for worship, small group ministries, congregational events, or provided directly to families as an outreach.
We also offer a monthly email containing helpful resources for your ministry, along with information on the upcoming events that our Blueprint Ministries team is involved with. You can join our mailing list by emailing admin@blueprintministries.org.au.
Partnering with Blueprint Ministries
Blueprint Ministries offers annual ministry grants of up to $1000 to support congregations and parishes in their ministry for children, youth, young adults and families. Applications for these usually open in the last half of the year.
Our Team also provide Children's Packs for the Christmas and Easter seasons containing a number of resources and activities. These are a fantastic way to reach out into your community and provide scripture and connection to those who may not otherwise receive it.
These Children's Packs are provided FREE for congregations and individuals to access and provide to young people in their communities, but numbers are limited. Please contact admin@blueprintministries.org.au to place an order in the lead up to the Christmas and Easter seasons.
The funds for these projects, and more besides, are raised during our annual Blueprint Ministries Dinner, held each year in Adelaide. This event is a fantastic opportunity to find out more about the work of Blueprint Ministries around the SA-NT District, network with other supporters of ministry to, with and for young people, and contribute financially to our ongoing ministry through our various fundraising activities, such as raffles and silent auctions.

Child Safety Standards
It is vitally important that we work together to create a safe and welcoming environment for our young people. The Lutheran Church of Australia is currently working with congregations to implement these Standards across the Church.
